If you want to become a customer of METRO Cash & Carry you will agree and sign for the following conditions:
1. METRO is selling goods on terms of wholesale to its Customers, registered as legal entities or physical persons – private entrepreneurs.
2. A plenipotentiary (“Representative”) of the Customer can be allowed to a METRO store only upon showing a valid Customer Card. A Representative can be accompanied by up to two persons or providing assistance.
3. It is prohibited to bring bags, packets, containers, as well as optic, acoustic or other recording equipment to METRO stores.
4. The Representatives and accompanying persons are accounted for all risks and responsibilities having to do with using vehicles on the territory of METRO and adjacent territories, including parking zone, sidewalks, roadways and other.
5. The Customer is responsible for the fact that purchases at METRO stores will be made by his plenipotentiary Representatives, and is also obliged to compensate METRO all costs and/or losses, METRO might incur with in case of improper use of the Customer Card or violation of theses GENERAL PURCHASE CONDITIONS (including violations on the side of Customer Card representatives or persons that can accompany them).
6. A Customer Card remains to be the property of Metro. A Customer is obliged to immediately inform Metro in the written form in case the Customer Card is lost, as well as to inform about the change of the company’s activity or address.
7. Aimed at constant improvement of customer service and ensuring permanent product range Metro regularly analyses purchases of the Customers. The Customer agrees that Metro can use and process information which will be received due to issue of Customer Cards or making purchases within the limits of current legislation.
8. Metro can cease its relationships with the Customer to its own discretion at any time. Relations with the Customer are ceased automatically if the Customer stops or has no right to further carry out business activity. After suspension of relationship Customer Representatives are refused to be allowed to enter Metro, and the customer has to return Metro his Customer Cards.
9. If a Representative (or a person accompanying him) will for any reason open or damage the goods packaging, whether on purpose or incidentally, the Customer is obliged to compensate Metro the cost of the relevant goods item (Metro Unit). After compensation the good will be handed in property of the Customer.
10. Paying for the product the Representative certifies that he received the project and that there are no outer defects. The goods can be returned or exchanged if they are returned in their original packaging within term determined by Metro and are accompanied by documents certifying the fact of purchase.
11. In case the goods under the guarantee reveal certain defects, Metro (or at first the manufacturer or an authorized service center, if the corresponding guarantees are presented and in compliance with Metro’s instructions) will improve the defects or replace the goods and in case it is impossible to improve the defects or replace the goods, price can be lowered or money for the goods will be returned.
12. Children under 6 years old are not allowed to Metro store.
13. In case any separate statement of the GENERAL PURCHASE CONDITIONS is accepted invalid the rest of the conditions remain valid.
